MR. MAYMUNSHINE’S CHRISTMAS LAND – DIGITAL NES ROM
ROM files are labeled .nes, and all roms from calgames are developed with Mapper 30. If that sounds foreign to you, don’t fret! The game will work on most modern emulators and devices (like Anbernic or Retroid Pocket). In rare cases, like Delta for iOS, the game will need to be converted to Mapper 2. If you don’t know how to convert it yourself, just shoot us a message with your purchase info, and we’ll take care of it!

ABOUT THE GAME
MR. MAYMUNSHINE’S CHRISTMAS LAND
Help Mr. Maymunshine, a little red Christmas monkey, collect Christmas items on his way to see Santa Claus! Listen to 8-bit holiday classic songs as you jump your way through a snowy town, a shopping mall, the North Pole, and other locations before resting at your snow-covered home in the forest.
Great for small kids: a very short game that is impossible to lose. Just learn how to jump and move around the world to collect items, while listening to 8-bit Christmas music.
One day while out shopping, I happened upon a cute little Christmas monkey ornament (?). He was made of fabric, with a string loop on his head. I brought him home and sat him on the couch as a surprise for my wife. She loved him, and we named him Mr. Maymunshine (“maymun” means “monkey” in Turkish (my wife is Turkish), and it’s also a play on Monkeyshine Beer from the TV show Friends. Mr. Maymunshine has traveled the world with us in our bags, from the USA to Europe, Turkey, and even he Caribbean. He became a favorite fixture for our daughter. I decided to use him as a character to make a fun little game that embodies the spirit of Christmas, while making it extremely simple — in the hopes that my wife (who’s not the best at video games) and my daughter would have fun with it. Now, you can also have it! Please share it with your kids, or just play it during the holidays to add some Christmas cheer.
